Helen C. Brown

Helen Campbell Brown, daughter of the late Lilly Pearl Campbell, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.

At an early age she joined Antioch Baptist Church and accepted the Lord as her personal savior. Later in life she started attending Union Bethel Baptist Church with her husband for Bible Study and Sunday School. On Sundays she worshipped with Salem Baptist Church, always expressing how good and kind everyone was to her. She loved Rev. Bland and the Salem Church Family, attending and traveling with them until her health failed her.

She was united in holy matrimony in May 1954 to Luthern M. Brown. They were married for 65 years and from this union they were blessed with two children; Luthern M. Brown, Jr. and Leona M. Brown. A special friend Cheryl Chapman who she loved as her daughter and her beloved cousin Carrie Rich.

Helen’s brother, Robert Campbell, preceded her in death on February 14, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, two children and many beloved nieces, nephews and a host of other cousins and friends.
