Haywood D. Hedgeman

Haywood D. Hedgeman son of the late Milton and Bertie Hedgeman was born May 15, 1946 in Fredericksburg,Va. He departed this life on Monday April 28, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital Richmond, Va. He was emplyed as an Engineer at the Navy Ordinance Station at Indian Head, Md. for 36 years. And he was very proud to be a member and former chief of the Rappahanock Indian Tribe. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia on January 12,1999. Haywood also had special love for horses. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Preston and daughter, Sarah his sister Agnes L. Battle and her husband Jasper and one niece Nina Battle and host of other relatives and friends.
