He always wore a smile; he was always ready to help someone in need; he always had a word of encouragement for others; he loved his family more than many of us will ever know!!...those are just a few qualities that made Our Brother, Father, Nephew, Cousin, Uncle, friend so very special!!
Gregory Allen ("Greg") Jackson, son of the late Roosevelt and Anna Jackson, was born April 23, 1961 in King George County, Virginia. He went home to be with The Lord on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, VA.
Greg was educated in the King George County public schools and confessed his faith in God at an early age at St. Stephens Baptist Church. After attending King George County public schools, he enlisted and served his country in the United States Army. He lived in Washington, DC for many years and worked in DC and Maryland as a maintenance engineer and body shop repair man before recently returning to King George.
Greg loved his family and children very much and leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, NiTasha Jackson (Nashville, Tennessee), Nia and Grace Jackson (Panama City, Florida); six sisters, Linda (Art) Clark (McDonough, Georgia), Marilyn (Vernon) Davis (Woodbridge, Virginia), Renay Boxley and Betty Settles (King George, Virginia), Helen Cartwright (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), and Grace Jenkins (Maryland); two brothers, Don (Justina) Jackson (King George, Virginia) and Joseph Jackson (Maryland); seven nieces, seven nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
