Geneva Coleman

Geneva Reid Coleman born in Salisbury, North Carolina on October 22, 1926 to the late George and Savannah Reid. In June 1969, she married her loving husband, the late Alfred A. Coleman of Spotsylvania, Va. She departed this life on November 28, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Fredericksburg, Va. Geneva gave her life to Christ at an early age.

Geneva was educated in the Rowan County School system in North Carolina. Formerly employed with the Department of Defense, for more than thirty years, until her retirement.
Before the onset of her illness, she enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards and her love of her many dogs.

Geneva known to some as "Gink" leaves to cherish her memory a devoted niece, Pearl Garrison, three sisters Vera Gathe; Beulah Grayson; Thelma Black, and two brothers-in-law, Richard Carthorne and William "Bill" Black; two stepchildren Maria and Cory; five sisters-in-law, a companion and close friend, Sylvia Boone and a host of relatives and friends.
