Fannie Mae Coleman

Fannie Mae Coleman, daughter of the late James and Mary Robinson, was born in Essex Co, VA on August 15, 1931. God in His divine wisdom called her into eternal rest on July 17, 2003 at the age of 71. After she took ill, she moved in the home of her eldest daughter Elsie and her husband Keith, where she was cared for with another daughter Beverly, who devoted much of their time and love until her death.
Fannie joined Ebenezer Baptist Church, Supply, VA at an early age. She continued to serve as a faithful member until she took ill. She attended the Essex County Public School system in Essex, VA.
Fannie was joined in holy matrimony to Rogers Coleman who preceded her in death. From this union 13 children were born. Two preceded her in death; Harvey and Amos Coleman; she also had one sister, Pearl; three brothers, Gilbert, James, and Ryland who preceded her in death.
In her memory she leaves to cherish, four daughters, Elsie Johnson, Shirley Coleman and Earlene Richards, all of Caroline County, Va, and Beverly Studivent of Auroa, Colorado; seven sons Harry and Randy Coleman, both of Essex County, VA, Charlie Coleman of King George, and Roy, Lewis, Eddie and John Coleman, all of Caroline County, VA; six sisters, Gladys Johnson, Emma Childs, and Addie Fortune of Caroline County, VA, Dorothy Coleman of Essex County, VA, Lola Hinson of Palmyra, NJ and Helen Morgan of Trenton, NJ; one brother, Walter Robinson of Caroline County, Va; thirty grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister-in-law Betty of Trenton, NJ; three brother-in-laws Malchia and MacArthur of Caroline County, VA and George of Palmyra, NJ; one devoted grandson Brian and a special granddaughter Bridgette. Three devoted family friends Carolyn, Stacey, and Becky; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
