Everette Byrd, Jr. fondly known as "Lump", son of Everette, Sr. and Rose Ella Byrd was born May 22, 1964 in Westmoreland County, Virginia. On Saturday, October 27, 2012 Everette, Jr. finished his earthly duties and suddenly passed into eternal rest.
"Lump" as he was affectionately known by his family and friends grew up and was educated in the Westmoreland County Public School System. He was employed by Ingleside Plantation Nursery for 30 years and recently employed by P. D. & E. of Maryland.
"Lump" loved hunting and fishing but most of all he loved and enjoyed his family. He loved life, made friends easily and was a soul of good humor. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of 1½ years, Mary A. Byrd, his parents, Everette Sr., and Rose Ella Byrd, a grandmother, Anita Byrd of Colonial Beach, a step-son, Kevin Jackson of Fredericksburg, a step-daughter, Cheryl Jackson of Maryland, two sisters, Barbara Smith (Raymond) and LaWanda Smith (Sylvester) of Colonial Beach, four aunts, Beatrice Berry (William), Delores Johnson (James) both of Maryland, Dorothy Mae Johnson (Edward) of Colonial Beach and Renee LaPrade of Maryland, six uncles, Charles Byrd (Alberta), Thomas Byrd (Rose Marie), Milton Byrd, Edward Byrd, Daniel Byrd, all of Colonial Beach, Levy Byrd of Alexandria and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
