God knew that you were tired,
and a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you,
and whispered ''come to me''.
In the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 27, 2004, God called from among us his loving child to come home and rest. Eula Mae Samuel was born April 3, 1931 to the late Freddie & Ocsie Martin. She attended Caroline County Schools. She joined Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age. Eula was joined in marriage to the late Chester A. Samuel and has attended St. Stephens Baptist Church for nearly forty-five years, in which she participated in the Missionaries until her illness. One sister and two brothers preceded per in death, Oscie Woolfolk, George & Willie Martin.
She leaves to mourn her son, Robert A. Samuel, Sr. of Bowling Green, Va.; her daughter, Jacqueline S. Jeter of Bowling Green, Va.; one grandson, her pride and joy, Robert A. Samuel, Jr. of the home; three granddaughters, Tashae Smith of Hanover, Va.; Tara and Tiffany Samuel of Richmond, Va.; four sisters, Susie Woolfolk of Bowling Green, Va.; Lenora Blagmon of Chance, VA.; Shirley & Sally Bouleware, both of Ruther Glen, Va.; a devoted son-in-law, Truett E. Jeter, Jr.; four brothers-in-law, Alfred Woolfolk of Bowling Green, Va.; James Blagmon of Chance, Va.; Ryland ''Nunie'' Bouleware and Webb ''Dickie'' Bouleware, both of Ruther Glen, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Emma S. Vaughan of Columbia, Md.; and Lucille H Martin of Bowling Green, Va.; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Lois. Everyone was special to her, but particularly cousins Fritz and Pauline.
''Nana'' as she was affectionately known by all the kids she came in contact with was a kind, gentle, quiet lady. She was always lending a hand to help someone else.
Our Morning Prayer
Lord, in the quiet of this morning hour,
Let me feel Thy love and power.
Let me so full of Thy spirit be,
That others can see the
Christ in me.
Let me reflect Thy presence sweet
To everyone I chance to meet,
Let me a friend to people be
That they, too, will search for Thee.
Let me add to this, Thy Day,
Love and peace in every way.
Sorrowfully Submitted
