Eleanor M Ware

Eleanor Mae Ware entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 6, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Eleanor was born to the late Adolph and Clara Nash on June 3, 1922.
She accepted Christ at an early age and in her teen years began attending the Little Zion Baptist Church in Oak Grove, VA. She looked so forward to attending the services at her home church and around the local area. Eleanor was a very faithful and lifelong member of Little Zion Baptist Church.
During Eleanor's early years of childhood she lived in N.W., Washington, DC with her parents and attended public school. At the age of 13 years old she and her parents moved back to Oak Grove, Virginia where she attended Westmoreland County Public Schools.
Eleanor was married to the late Raymond Ware for over twenty years where they shared a home and welcomed family and friends. Eleanor was a very kind and gentle person. She had a loving and generous heart and there was nothing that she would not do to extend a helping hand to those that were in need. She was a very wise counselor and always had words of wisdom to impart on others. Her kind spirit and wonderful smile will always be remembered.
Eleanor was always very excited and extremely eager to travel with her granddaughter and great grandchildren to various destinations. She enjoyed life and loved her family very dearly. Eleanor also enjoyed shopping and going to the movies and keeping up with her daily soap operas. Most of all Eleanor enjoyed going to her granddaughter's home in Maryland and spending time with her and her family.
Eleanor worked for a very short period in Colonial Beach but spent most of her life as a homemaker in Oak Grove. She loved and took great pleasure in being able to take care of her home and family members. Eleanor lived a very full and active life with her family sharing fond memories and laughter with them. She loved nothing more in this world than being able to spend time with her loved ones. Eleanor's last few years was spent quietly at Heritage Hall in King George, Virginia.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond Ware, parents Adolph and Clara Nash, and one sister Ruby Nash.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories one daughter, Emily Kelly (Frank) of Oak Grove, Virginia. Three grandchildren, Kevin Kelly (Clemencia), of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Melissa Hines (Claude), of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Conrad Kelly of Oak Grove. Seven great grandchildren, Frankie, Michael II (Hope), Michelle, Taneisha, Romon, Kevin Jr and Antoinette. Three great-great grandchildren Maliyah, Michael III and Monique.
