Dennis W. Osborne

Dennis Walter Osborne was born on February 12, 1949 in Caroline County, Virginia to the late Julia Louise Osborne and Walter Minor. Dennis accepted Christ at an early age and joined Third Mount Zion Church. He later rededicated his life and proudly served on the Usher Ministry.

Dennis was educated in the Caroline County Public School system. He proudly served his country in the United Sates Army in Vietnam and later worked as a Laborer for Claiborne Beck Company, Spotsylvania, VA. and Bowling Green Health Care Center.

Nothing could take the place of Dennis' lifelong passion for the sport of fishing and spending hours with his nephews. "COOL" Dennis was affectionally known as "BIG D". He thoroughly loved being with his family and friends. He was joined in holy matrimony to the former Janet Marie Brown of Ruther Glen on August 9, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Joyce Ann Turner and Barbara Ann Jones, and his step mom Bertha Minor.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Janet Marie Brown Osborne. Seven sisters, Betty Jean Osborne-Waller (Edward), Barbara Parker (Odell), Sarah Diane Coleman, Gretchen Denise Minor-Sims (Emanuel), Faye Minor-Hicks (Ernest), Vickie Minor Coggins, Carol Ann Minor White (Jamie). Two Brothers, Harry Lee Washington and Thomas Lee Dawson. One stepson, Tyree Jermaine Brown, two step grandchildren, Makieh and Amiyah Brown. Two sisters-n-law, Mary Elizabeth Brown and Ellen Teresa Brown. Two brothers-n-law Roger Brown and Medford Turner. Dennis will be sadly missed by a host of devoted aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
