Deacon William Stefon Lee was born on March 19, 1961 in Fredericksburg, VA. He was the only son of Fannie Mae Lee. Stefon attended Essex County Public Schools. He graduated from Essex High School in 1979. After graduation Stefon worked various jobs before deciding to attend Strayer University. He worked as a government contractor for 20 plus years. For the last five years he sold cars at Safford Mazda.
At an early age Stefon gave his life to Christ. He was an active member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Supply, VA. He was a deacon for over 20 years. He taught Sunday School for many years. He enjoyed singing in the choir and devoted his life to visiting the sick and shut-in.
In 1983, while working at White Packing, Stefon met the love of his life, Venus. They were married on March 20, 1993. Stefon and Venus have three children and Stephanie was his baby. Stefon made family a priority. He was crazy about his grandchildren. He never missed a game or any school events. Stefon had many hobbies. He loved riding his bike and going for walks. He spent a lot of time growing plants. He was a huge fan of the Washington Football Team. If he wasn't riding a bike or spending time with his family you could find him shopping. Stefon was always known for being a sharp dresser.
Stefon is survived by his loving wife, Venus; mother, Fannie; three children: LaQuisha (Steve) Seargeant, David Duffin, and Stephanie Lee; two granddaughters: De'Asia Frye and Iyana Seargeant; five grandsons: Khai Seargeant, Isaiah Landry, David Duffin, Da'Mon Duffin, and Ayden Duffin; two godsons: Damion Powers and Daniel Samuel; three sisters: Laverne (Bentley) Simmons, Gail (Greg) Brown, and Angelia (Douglas) Eatmon; three brothers: Jack (Barbara) Vesselles, Roy Vesselles, and James Vesselles; four aunts Elise Samuel (Leon), Mary Alice Greene, Mary Gaines, Lelia Jackson; two uncles James Myers, Roger Lee; three sister-in-laws: Chanita (Victor) Hall, Ramona (Darryl) Perry, and LaShawn (Harold) Basham; one brother-in-law: Darrin Duffin; twelve special friends: KaTina Frye, Kelsey Monroe, Leon Harrison, Clifford Byrd, Bernard Covington, James Bailey, Cartha Branham, Toby MacNeil, Lydell Samuel, Larry Harvey, James Harvey, and Marvin Tolliver.
