Deacon Henry A. Brown

Deacon Henry A. Brown, 93, of Colonial Beach, Va. Stepped into eternity with the Lord on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va. He was retired from The Supreme Council in Washington D.C., the Hotel Association Local 25 of Washington D.C., and Waste Management of King George, Va.
Deacon Brown was a lifelong member of the Good Hope Baptist Church of King George, VA, where they enjoyed his potato salad. Henry was a self-proclaimed “jack of all trades”, where he could fix mostly anything, “his way”.
He is survived by a wife of 22 years, Mable Helen Boddie-Brown, five children, Hazel Williams of Baltimore, MD; Rev. Albert Brown (Cordelia) of Colonial Beach, VA; Rev. Cedric Brown of Woodbridge, VA; Neal Brown of Akeny, IA; Gilbert Brown (Janet) of Fredericksburg, VA.; Ten grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Six step children, Andrew Boddie (Bernice), Milton Boddie; Sandra Jackson, Theresa Boddie-Ceaser, Linda Boddie, and Larry Boddie. Two special cousins, Deacon Robert C. Brown, and Deacon John H. McDowney, a large host of nieces, nephews, cousins, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Henry was pre-deceased by his first wife of 48 years, Margaret E. Brown, an infant daughter Lynette Brown, two grandchildren, Thomas Angelo Williams Jr., and Romondt A. Brown Sr.
