Clarence Gresham

Clarence Edward Gresham Jr., 71 years of age formerly of Fredericksburg, VA passed away peacefully at the Carriage Hill Nursing Home. After a long illness on March 5, 2015.
Clarence, oldest son of the Late Clarence E. Gresham Sr. and Elizabeth B. Gresham was born on June 13, 1943 in Woodford VA. He attended and graduated from Caroline County Public Schools. He later found employment in the Nursing Home dietary department in downtown Fredericksburg. He had left for New York where he made his home and met his wife Marion. He went to work for Harlem Hospital for two years. Later worked for on Pinkerton Security starting as Sergeant, then promoted to Captain giving them four years. He later was employed by the Board of Higher Education as a cleaner, then worked his way up to lead laborer. He held this position until his retirement in 1996. He returned home in Fredericksburg where he and his wife set up home.
Clarence was preceded in death by his Father Clarence Sr. and Mother Elizabeth Gresham, Brother Johnny Gresham and Sister Ada Gresham.
Cherishing loving Memories of his life, his wife Marion, four children; Camille Golden, Louis Golden, Wayne Smalls, Lavinia Watson, two brothers; Roger and Samuel Gresham, two sisters; Bertha Young and Frances Gresham, two sister-in-laws; Patricia Gresham and Pamela Gresham, Daughter in law Sharilyn Golden, Grandchildren; Omar and Kyle Golden, Duan King Golden, Shakiera Golden, Kayla Cephas, Kiarah Golden, Danielle Watson, Lynette Davis and Great Grand Children; Rashad and Marley Golden, Anise King Golden, A host of Nieces and Nephews.
