Clarence Alger Jeter II, 35 of Ruther Glen, Virginia died Thursday, October 17, 2002 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He had been a lineman with Rappahannock Electric Cooperative since 1997.
Mr. Jeter was a member of St. John Baptist Church, Milford, Virginia. He was Chairman of the Caroline County Social Services Board; Treasurer of the Community Uplift Social Club of Caroline; Treasurer, Trustee and Past Master of Welcome Masonic Lodge 125, Bowling Green; Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity; and Defensive Coach for Caroline County Parks and Recreation Peewee and J. V. Football. He was a 1985 graduate of Caroline High School, Milford, Virginia and attended Elon College in Elon, North Carolina and Virginia Union University, Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Jeter was a founding owner of C.J.'s Lawn Service and a former employee of Richmond International Airport.
He is survived by his wife, Rena L. Jeter; one daughter, Mya L. Jeter; one son, Clarence A. Jeter III, all of Ruther Glen; his parents, Geneva and Clarence A. Jeter, Bowling Green, Virginia; two sisters, Jane Johnson, Caret, Virginia; Vicki Jeter, Spotsylvania, Virginia; one brother, Lance Jeter, Spotsylvania, Virginia; his parents-in-law, Linwood and Barbara Boulware of Ruther Glen, Virginia; his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Raye Williams, Ruther Glen, Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Reckell Oneal and Kristy Jeter; two brothers-in-law, Ronald A. Johnson, Sr. and Robert W. Oneal; two nieces, Temika Johnson and Bria Oneal; and three nephews, Ronald A. Johnson, Jr., Dennis Jeter and Robert Oneal II.
