Charles Wayne Jones

Charles Charlie Wayne Jones was born December 16, 1950 in Essex County to the late Phillip and Viola Jones.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Sterling Jones.

At a early age he attended school in Tappahannock, VA.

He loved fishing and working on cars. Later in life he enjoyed sitting on porch and watching traffic.

He leaves behind and survived by his wife, Valice T. Jones, four children: Jacqueline Holmes (Cordell) of Waterview, VA; LaFonda Edwards (Derrick) of Fredericksburg, VA; Wayne "Woody" Scott (Sherlonda) of Tappahannock, VA; Charles Lamont Jones (Skylar) of Montross, VA; six siblings: Curtis Jones(Clara Ann); Kenneth "Bo" Jones, Phillip Jones, Jr.; Dorthea Thomas (Johnny); Larry Jones (Jackie); Goldie Mae Wheeler; 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
