Charles S Parker, Jr.

Charles Stanley Parker, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2016.
He was born to Charles S. Parker, Sr. and the late Violet Toliver Parker on October 19, 1948 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He was the oldest of two children.

Charles joined Antioch Baptist Church in King George, Virginia at an early age and continued serving the Lord at Antioch until he moved from the area. He attended Ralph Bunche Elementary School and graduated from King George High School in 1966. Upon graduation, he attended the Richmond Polytechnic Institute currently known as Virginia Commonwealth University.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Toliver Parker and daughter Alicia Renee. He is survived by his wife Myfawneey Cooper Parker, Rocky Mount. N.C; two sons, Ashley Parker ( Lakisha) of Greenville, N.C; Carlos Parker of Valdosta, Ga; one daughter, Jennifer Parker of Talladega, Alabama; five grandchildren, Takirra, Tevin, Tavin, Sam, and Carmen. He is survived by his father; Charles S. Parker, Sr., of King George, Va; brother, Sherman Parker ( Leslie) of Mooresville, N.C.; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and close friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 11:00 a.m at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, Rocky Mt, N.C. and on Friday, May 6th at 12:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in King George, VA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the leukemia foundation.
