Charles M. Harvey

Charles Muscoe Harvey, son of the late James Roland Sr. and Eva Christian Harvey, was born October 30, 1918 in King and Queen County, Virginia. He quietly departed this life on May 20, 2009 at his residence in King and Queen County.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the First Mount Olive Baptist Church. He was a quiet and loving person who was always willing to help anyone that was in need.

He moved to Smyrna Delaware in 1948. He met Lillian Dolly and they married. After his retirement, he moved back to King and Queen, Virginia. He remained here until his health failed him.

He leaves to cherish many memories: One foster daughter, Lahleet Siler of Dover, Delaware; one foster grandson, Anthony Siler of Newtown, Virginia; two surviving sister's Marie Johnson and Odessa Harvey of Newtown, Virginia; two sister-in-laws, Kate Harvey of Washington D.C. and Donsey Harvey of Tappahannock, Virginia; two brother-in-laws Quinton Johnson and Robert Baylor both of Newtown, Virginia; one granddaughter, Rebecca Siler of Smyrna, Delaware; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
