Charles D Holmes

Charles D. Holmes, 65, of King George, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 22, 20 2 3. He was born on December 2, 1957 to Daniel Holmes and the late Berth a Holmes. In addition to his mother, Charles was preceded in death by his sisters Sophia Alleyne and Brenda King . At a young age, Charles became a member of People's Union Baptist Church in King George, Virginia. Later, he became a member of Clever's Oak Baptist Church in Goldvein, Virginia. Charles attended King George High School and later moved to Goldvein, Virginia where he graduated from Fauquier High School . After graduating, he went into the United States Army. Charles was employed as a contractor installing Dish equipment, and owned a Mechanic shop. He was a loyal fan of his favorite team, the Washington Commanders. During his free time, he loved to draw, build model cars, and work on televisions and anything electrical. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Charles leaves to cherish his memory his father, Daniel Holmes; his wife Dorothy Holmes; two stepchildrentepchildren children: Nathaniel Daye and Roneisha Robinson; siblings: Mary Brown (Keith), Samuel Nicholson (Darnese), James Brown (Renae), Linda King, and Paulette Holmes; two aunts: Beatrice Holmes and Ethel Tidwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. .
