Brenda Rollins (Peaches) 57, of Fort Washington, Md. entered into eternal rest and peace at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D. C. on Wednesday, October 6, 2004.
Brenda, affectionately known as ''Peaches'', was born June 28, 1947, to Margaret Williams and the late Claireponte Foucha.
Brenda was baptized at an early age. She graduated from Eastern High School. Brenda began her career at the White House. The next step of her career was with the Department of Transportation, where she retired after 37 years of service in January 2004.
Brenda was an all around beautiful person inside and out. She was a gifted decorator. She loved working in her yard and decorating her home inside and out. She won several awards for her beautiful Christmas displays. She loved surrounding herself in beauty and comfort. Brenda was well known for her ''Tina Burner'' Act, which she always performed with her ''Waiting to Exhale'' group. Brenda was high energy and had to stay busy. She loved her dog ''Smokey''. She was vibrant, loving, generous, artistic and radiated love and happiness. she loved entertaining and extended her hospitality to everyone.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Franklin Rollins of Ft. Washington, Md.; 3 loving sons, Brian Lopez, Franklin and Daryl Rollins; parents, Margaret and Russell Stroman; 3 sisters, Adrian, Charlita and Maria Stroman; 2 brothers, Claireponte (Robin) and Ronald Williams; 1 daughter-in-law, Nichola Rollins, 2 granddaughers, Ashley and Keonna Rollins; 3 aunts, Polly Duvall, Bernice Jefferson, and Bertha Melchor; 1 uncle, 3 sisters-in-law, Laverne Parker, Frances Jeter, and Susie Jeter; 4 brothers-in-law, William, Phillip (Margaret), Leroy (Myrtle), Clinton (Monica); a loving god daughter, Brittney; 3 devoted sister-friends, Jeanette Askew, Juanita Jackson, and Veronica Randall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends.
