Brenda Delise Brown entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Brenda, affectionately known to the family, as “Wee-Baby”, was born June 7, 1963, in King George, Virginia, to the late Kenneth “Gilly” Brown, who preceded her in death, and Joyce “Buttercup” Brown.

She was educated in the King George County Public Schools. After graduating high school, she provided various custodial services within the Northern Neck area. Friends and family will always remember her for her laughter, jokes and her passion and love for all animals. Brenda never hesitated to help those in need whether it was to provide a place to stay or food to eat.

At a young age, Brenda accepted Christ and was baptized at the Antioch Baptist Church located in King George, Virginia.

She leaves to cherish her memory her only son, Elvin Linwood Brown of King George, Virginia, her mother, Joyce “Buttercup” Brown, her two brothers, Kenneth “Vic” Brown, Gilbert L. Brown, both of King George, Virginia, her three sisters, Robin “Muffin” Brown-Haywood of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Tracy L. Brown-Campbell (David) of King George, Virginia and Johanna Payne (George) of Westmoreland, Virginia, three grandchildren, Kierra, Jamiah and Brendan, three aunts, Elaine Greene, Garnetta West (Mike) and Vertalia Brown, three uncles, Donald Brown (Sandy), Francis Harvey (Paula) and Vincent Jackson, St. Paul, Minnesota, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition, Brenda leaves cherished memories with two special friends, William “Willie” Dunaway and Parithia McDowney, who both were her long-time friends.

Brenda will be deeply missed by her family and friends and mostly by her devoted chihuahua’s, Tee-Tee, Harley, Layla and Bella.
