Blanche V. ''Jenny'' Davis

Blanche Virginia Davis, affectionately known as ''Jenny'' daughter of the late Moses Beverly and Georgianna Jordan was born July 17, 1932 in King George, Va. She departed this life on Thursday July 8, 2004 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, King George after a long illness. She received her education at Ralph Bunche School, King George. At an early age she accepted Christ and joined the Little Ark Baptist Church later in life she transferred her membership to the Union Bethel Baptist Church. Jenny worked at NSWC, Dahlgren for number of years before retiring in 1981 on disability.

Jenny was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved to laugh and always say something that would make you laugh. She fought a long battle of illness, but God called her home, she will be missed by all of those who loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Linda (Bruce) Grady, Woodford, Va., Leon (Ruby) Jordan and Betty Jordan both of King George, Irving (Lolita) Davis, Fredericksburg, Charles (Diane) Davis and Brenda(Edward) Bailey both of King George, Jerome (Helen) Davis, South Carolina, Judy Davis Stafford, Barbara (Kevin) McDowney Spotsylvania, 23 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren two special children Diane Cooper and Jesse Beverly whom she loved as her own. Her sister Vilma ''Geneie'' Beverly, Washington D.C. her bothers Stanley and Andrew Beverly both of Maryland and Aunt Lena Hickerson, King George and Uncle Ernest Jordan and wife Celestine of Dahlgren, a devoted companion of many years Mac Johnson of King George, and host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
