To God Be the Glory (Antoinette's favorite words)
Antoinette Alexia Minor, affectionately called ("Nett-Nett") daughter of the late Thomas Robinson and Barbara Ann Allen was born on November 5, 1977 in Fredericksburg, VA. She was raised by her maternal grandmother, the late Mary Brooks. On Friday, May 16, 2014, the angels came and took her from her earthly home to her heavenly home while in the care of her special care-giver Dee Minor by her side.
Antoinette received her education in the Fredericksburg City Schools. Nett-Nett loved to perform dance, participated in Talent Shows, Fashion and Hair Shows. Was on the Drill Team and crowned Prom Queen. She continued her education at the Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. Received her Degree at The Sure Foundation Theological Institute, Associate of Christian Studies, given on the 30th day of October 2010.
She worked as a Medical Assistant at various locations, i.e. Mary Washington Hospital, Caroline Family Practice, Fredericksburg Orthopedic and Children's Hospital.
Nett-Nett was raised in a Christian home, and later in life accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and baptized at the Third Mount Zion Baptist Church. Nett-Nett sang with the Anointed Voices Choir, served as a Sunday School Teacher, and instructed Children's Church. She enjoyed studying and reading the bible, playing card games, assisting her husband with his DJ events and Friday Family Fun Nights. With her voice, she gave joy and comfort, with her voice, she gave hope and peace, with her voice she gave inspiration, with her voice; she worshipped and praised the Lord. (Never complained and when asked, how she was doing, replied "I'm Good)
Nett-Nett met her soul-mate and love of her life, Earl C. Minor, Jr. (Poodie) at Third Mount Zion Baptist Church and they were married on September 30, 2006.
Nett-Nett leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted and loving husband of eight years, her daughter Tiara Ivey, son Zion Minor, a step-daughter Amaya Abner. One sister Tomeka Allen, one brother Robert Taylor, Jr., Mother-in-law Dorothy Minor, Sisters-in-Law, Debra Johnson, Robin Minor and Diona Minor, one Great Aunt Christabelle Williams, three Aunts, Dorothy White (Boddy), Alice Smith (Smitty), and Renee Bundy (Jammie), nine Uncles, Anthony Brooks (Robin) Larry Brooks (Debbie) Ellsworth Brooks (Frederika), James Robinson (Elizabeth) Melvin Robinson (Delores) John Robinson (Joyce) Willie Robinson (Barbara) Bernard Robinson (Gilda) of Ruther Glen, VA, and Jackie Ray Robinson.
