Annie M. Washington

Mrs. Annie M. Washington departed this life to be with our Lord and Saviour on Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

She was born on December 25, 1910, in Port Royal, Virginia to the late Sam Jones and Lula Mae Jones.

She was baptized and joined Shiloh Baptist Church, Bowling Green, Virginia at an early age.

In 1930, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late James E. Washington of Bowling Green, Virginia. To this union, four children were born. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Daisy Watson of Capital Heights, Maryland and Mary Upshaw of Bowling Green, Virginia; two sons, Richard Washington(Elma Lee) and Reverened Arthur Washington(Gloria) both of Bowling Green, Virginia; she also leaves eighteen grandchildren; thirty-three great granchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren to cherish her memories; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
