Annie Green

Annie Green was born in King George, VA on March 4, 1943, to the late Margaret (Green) and the late Clarence Scott. She was called to eternal rest on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Heritage Hall Nursing Facility in King George, Va. She graduated from Ralph Bunche High School in 1961 and retired from NSWC Dahlgren, VA after 30 years of faithful service as a computer assistant.
Annie gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined Union Bethel Baptist Church in King George County, VA, where she was a faithful member until her health began to fail. She served on the Senior Choir, Usher Board and Nurses Unit. She enjoyed time with family and friends and cooking was her favorite pastime. She was known for her delicious cream cheese pound cake and homemade rolls. Annie was loved by many and known for her inviting smile and loving spirit. She was also known by many as "GRAND MA ANNIE".
She leaves to cherish her memories her two sons; Darius Green (Shanie), Kendall Green, five sisters; twin Fannie Green(Paul), Margaretta Davis (Thomas), Diana Pratt (Herbert), Mamie Frenzley (Wayne) all of King George, VA and Priscilla Scott of Maryland. Three brothers; James Pratt of Fredericksburg, VA, Purnell Pratt (Kathy) and Robert Pratt (Karen) of King George, Va. Five grandchildren; Sharese Rishmawi (Jim), Charmaine Green, Tawayn Johnson, Jayden Johnson and Kierston Wright. Two great grandchildren Chase Green and Jeremiah Rishmawi, a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
