Angelo Cox, Jr.

Angelo Cox Jr. son of Angelo Cox Sr. and Barbara Smith was born January 4, 1987 in Washington, D.C. He peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital with his family by his side.
"AJ" as he was affectionately known by his family and friends completed his education at Westmoreland County Public School system. He was employed by Ingleside Plantation Nursery. He accepted Christ as his personal savior and joined Little Zion Baptist Church.
AJ loved to dance and listen to music. He enjoyed being around family and friends and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved to joke around and wrestle with the guys. AJ lived life to the fullest each day and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He leaves to cherish fond memories; his parents: Angelo Cox Sr. (Renee), Fort Washington, MD and Barbara Smith (Raymond), Colonial Beach, VA.; two grandmothers: Rose Byrd of Colonial Beach, VA and Ada Douse (Leon) of Jackson, South Carolina; a grandfather: James Cox Jr. (Ivory) of Washington, D.C.; One sister: Angela "Tina" Turner (Melvin) of Colonial Beach, VA; one brother: Emanuel Cox of Fort Washington, MD; one stepbrother: Antoine White of Maryland; three aunts: Lawanda Smith (Sylvester) of Colonial Beach, VA, Veronica Cox, of Fort Washington, MD, and Rose Bussey (Larry) of Martinez, Georgia; two uncles: Michael Pixley (Darlene) of Clinton, MD and Anthony Johnson of Jackson, South Carolina; one niece: Ki'Asiah Turner and one nephew: Melvin "Meech" Turner of Colonial Beach, VA. A host of relatives and friends, a few special friends, and his second family: "The Ware Family."
