Almeta Canada

Almeta Canada was born on June 22, 1920 in Warsaw, Virginia to the late Fax Dandridge and Kate Dandridge. Almeta was tired on earth so God said it's time to come home to your Eternal Life. She departed this life on November 21, 2018 at the home of her daughter Otelia Ford. She was baptized at New Zion Baptist Church in Richmond County, Virginia at a young age. Later she joined Mt Zion Baptist Church Spotsylvania, Virginia.

Almeta loved playing cards, her favorite was solitaire. She also loved watching cars go by.

In addition to her husband Raymond Canada, she is preceded in death by her sons Russell and Grafton Canada, grandson Brian Canada and son-in-law Lorenzo S. Ford, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son Eugene Canada (Lucy) of Falls Church, Virginia; two daughters, Otelia L. Ford and Alberta Canada of Spotsylvania, Virginia; a daughter in-law, Denise Canada of Richmond, Virginia; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and host of nieces, nephews and dear friends as well as other family members who loved her very much.
